June Bramble is a large woodblock print (24" x 36") printed in November, 2025. A meditation on belonging, this bramble is formed of Concord grape (Vitis labrusca 'Concord'), a vine native to Massachusetts, and Multiflora rose (Rosa multiflora), a vine native to Eastern Asia, which is often considered invasive. The beauty of these two, twined together, rich with scent and form, entangled along a favorite walking path gave me pause. We are all just trying to belong, to find harmony and purpose in our surroundings, native or not.
Print size: 24" x 36" with minimum 6" margins.
