Reflecting on this last year of seismic changes and feeling propelled forward by the support of so many people and small businesses. Welcoming the return of the light and all the new opportunities this year has in store.

This print was a collaboration with @henryandmac in celebration of a creative and joyful union. May the new year bring you projects with friends and excuses to find beauty on the rainiest days 🌫️

A meditation on belonging, this bramble is formed of Concord grape (Vitis labrusca ‘Concord’), a vine native to Massachusetts, and Multiflora rose (Rosa multiflora), a vine native to Eastern Asia, which is often considered invasive. The beauty of these two, twined together, rich with scent and form, entangled along a favorite walking path gave me pause. We are all just trying to belong, to find harmony and purpose in our surroundings, native or not.

Some call it the last day of summer, but we still consider it peak picnic season. Gather your people, smell the goldenrod, and celebrate your place as the shadows lengthen just a little bit earlier.
